“I’m so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers.” – L.M. Montgomery, Anne of Green Gables
“I’m so confused I live in a world where there are Augustobers.” – Hot cats of Ringoes, NJ
As we enter that orange-spangled supermonth of tricks, treats and toddlers dressed as tacos, things aren’t quite cool at Tabby’s Place. We are spinning from record-smashing temperatures (92, anyone?) and wondering if Oscar‘s state of meltitude may be irreversible at this point.
But no matter. Autumn is here, wildly warm or otherwise, and we are glad.
We are also glad for September’s stories:

Stuff We Learned: Youze guyze — yes you, yes you reading this — are even more amazing than we realized (and rest assured we already realized you were more amazing than pumpkin ice cream). You brought the Linda Fund to its fastest and most fabulous goal in the history of Tabby’s Place, nay, the history of the entire world. TEN THOUSAND STANDING OVATIONS TO YOU!
Rock your ‘tober, treasured ones. May it be warm in all the right ways.
I’m so glad I live in a world where there is Tabby’s Place! To not know the lovely safe life these cats have found – that would be sad. Wonderful adoptions – wonderful new cats taken in under Tabby’s wing – all good news. And to never have known Charlie – to not grieve his passing now – would be sad. His life and love have enriched us all. Rest in sweet peace, Charlie.
