Visitors are welcome by walk in or appointment. Appointments are encouraged, so we can best serve you.

Hours

We are open to the public seven days a week from 12PM to 5PM, except for the following holidays:

  • New Year’s Day
  • Easter Sunday
  • Memorial Day
  • Fourth of July
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving Eve
  • Thanksgiving
  • Christmas Eve
  • Christmas Day

Activities to schedule:

Guided tours are available by walk in or appointment.

    • Each tour is 30 minutes
    • You may have up to 5 people in your group
    • The last tour starts at 4:30PM daily



Visitors, including those who sponsor a special needs cat, may schedule quality time with our cats:

    • Each visit is 30 minutes
    • You may have up to 2 people in your group



We have many wonderful cats looking for their forever homes. Start the adoption process by completing and online application, and an Adoption Counselor will contact you to arrange a meeting with some special kitties and guide you through the adoption process.

Depending on availability, walk ins may be accepted between 12-5PM daily.

reading

Paws to Read allows children to read to our cats, which makes reading fun for children, and provides our cats with extra love and attention:

  • The program is run by a certified NJ teacher.
  • Each session is 15-60 minutes, depending on the child.
  • The program is open to children aged 5 – 11 years.
  • A guardian must remain in the building while the child is reading.
  • Parents and kids must sign a Pledge before beginning the program.
  • Children can bring their own books to read, or use the books we have at Tabby’s Place.
