Tabby’s Place works with the people who maintain several feral cat colonies. In particular, we provide medical assistance and spay or neuter the cats as a means of population control. Ralph was easy to spot as a new arrival in one of these colonies, because he has long fur of a beautiful lighter shade of gray. He was also easy to spot due to a massive bite wound on one side of his face and neck (yikes!) and the fact that he had not been neutered. Typically, when we trap cats in these colonies for their spay or neuter, they are very frightened of us, but not Ralph. To the complete surprise of the Tabby’s Place staff, as soon as they began to handle Ralph, he was all sweetness and purrs.
Ralph’s wound is completely healed now. He has settled into his new digs at Tabby’s Place and enjoys napping and playing with his new feline pals. All he needs now is a home of his own where he can be loved and cherished. If you can offer your heart and home to a special boy, do come in to meet our Ralph.
