All together now: auhhhhhhhtummmmm. It’s deeper than “ah.” It’s better than “om.” And we can see it shining in the not-too-distant distance. If ever we needed the sepia-toned glow of fall, it’s now.
Here’s something worth thinking about. If you meet someone named Gus, is it short for August, Augustine, Augustus, or Asparagus?
What did February brew for you, kittens? Was it the seasonal equivalent of honey-lemon tea, accented with a pink marshmallow heart? Or was it a colander of questionably-colored snow?
We are In It. The Most Wonderful Time of the Year(TM). The Holiday Season. The ThankChanChriKwaNewYear pentathlon of extravagance and emotion and love and angst. The cats have not noticed.
