We’re making it through the pestilence. We survived the murder hornets. Then the locusts came. The weeping cities and burning hearts. And now, as a treat, earthquakes, tropical storms, and, locally, hailstones the size of moons.
We’ve missed stuff, kittens. St. Patrick’s Day was the first casualty, but hot on its green heels were Easter, and Mother’s Day, and now sparkly Memorial Day. We must make sure that missing stuff doesn’t mean missing out.
We have met the fools, and the fools are us. Which, incidentally, would be a great name for a new store to occupy the old Toys ‘R Us locations.
