This snow kitten is 100% ready for cooler weather. The invigorating nip in the air; the burst of colors in shades of gold, bronze, red, yellow, and orange; plaid flannel.
There’s that little something lurking in that corner…not that one…yes, over there. Don’t be afraid, unless you want to be. Maybe you get a little shiver of a thrill from a teensy bit of fear. Not judging.
Life is complicated. Truth is complicated. Looking for simplicity in a sea of tangled webs (how d’ya like that mixed metaphor?) would be futile and most probably frustrating.

The other day, my hubby and I returned my mom to my sister’s house, her primary residence. We’re a quaranteam, so we’re sharing. It works out nicely for everyone: varied household dynamics, changes in company, someone else to look at (or not), and different walls for my mom.
Yes, that is my Clorox2 that I accidentally left on the counter. No, please don’t touch it to hand it to me. You shouldn’t have done that.
I’d say, top o’ the morning to ya, but I don’t really know when that is, or if anyone ever really says that. Anyway, it feels more like the bottom just now. Too early for much of anything, yet the sandman is elusive.
