I would most definitely eat antipasto twice just because she is so nice: Angelina. And, the way she swoons for her dry food, Angelina would certainly be content with a regular gig at the pizzeria. But for now, our zaftig love-bug remains, inexplicably, in Suite A.
Maybe they need therapy. Then again, when you’re in (stereotypical) therapy, you – the human bean – are lying on a couch, right? So maybe living under the couch is Eloise & Lady Grey’s way of telling us they think we need therapy?

We’ve previously pondered the intricacies of naming cats. Some names are cute, some are goofy, and every so often you’ll meet a cat with a name so perfect that it ought to be retired now that it’s found him. So it is with Tex.
I’m really starting to hate the phrase “not out of the woods yet.” I don’t know if China‘s found some nice wooded sunbeam to nap in, or maybe a woodland stream full of trout, but she – or rather, her medical situation – likes “the woods” a bit too much for my liking.
There are some that would argue with me, but it’s true. Not all cats are created equal. Exhibit A is Maggie, who was created just a little more equal in both size (15 1/4 pounds) and personality.
Is 11 the new 1? Is age just a number? Might the kitty fountain in the Community Room be the actual fountain of youth? Beats me, but clearly the unimpeachable Peachy is just getting better with age.
It amazes me how, often, a cat who lived as the ultimate wallflower in a suite of 17 rowdy roomies will bloom into a quirky, gregarious creature once you put her in a smaller pad. No kitty displays this phenomenon better than our Raja.
“If your cat could talk, he’d lie to you.” So true. That quote always gives me a chuckle.
