Two, we have established, are better than one. But when are two even better than merely “better than one?” When is “better than one” such a weak, wimpy term that it’s an insult to the awesomeness of two?
There are many, many Tabby’s Place-isms that old Mr. Webster (this one, not the best of the Websters) would never put in his dictionary.

Awesome: a sweet adoption. Awesome squared: BFF felines adopted together. Awesome to the nth degree: regular, glorious photo updates on those very BFFs gobbling up the joy they deserve.
Every so often, we’re graced with a pair of cats who belong together. It’s as if one beautiful heart beats in two furry bodies. Naturally, we have no choice but to respect these everlasting bonds. You don’t break up Bogey and Bacall, George and Gracie…or Monica and Chandler.
Take one marmalade aspiring Houdini. Add the soulful sweetie who’s the last kid from her family picked for the adoption team. Blend with Mr. Adopter Jr. Within a week, ingredients will yield one forever family.
It was a Thanksgiving miracle worthy of the heartiest “Aarrr!” Mrs. AwesomeAdopter came in for one very marvelous Special Needs boy…and wound up scoring his swashbuckling best buddy, too. So it is that Midnight and Pirate have found a forever home – together.
