Tiny Tony lookalike Gumbo went through so many false alarms before finding his forever family. But, as you can see in this e-mail, Gumbo’s new life of love was every bit worth the wait. Special thanks to Gumbo’s new mom, Stephanie, for letting me share her words with you.
One of the blessings of life with the cats is loving the people who love them. Holly is one such gem.
You knew this post was coming. So did I. And yet, there’s still something so satisfying and right about it finally, really being really real: Gumbo has been adopted. And, oh yeah, this time it’s going to stick!
In case the written word doesn’t quite capture my tone, my use of the word unadoptable is entirely ironic. Except for the fact that, so far, it’s been weirdly accurate for one of the most outrageously “adoptable” kittens I’ve ever seen.
