Gratuitous cat photo season begins

hobbes-by-atThis is the time of many seasons.

The season of twinkly lights. The season of smiling (which is my favorite, too). The season of pfefferneuse and Nativity scenes and peace on earth everywhere except the mall.

This is also the time in which Tabby’s Place Development Directors and erstwhile writers are awash in either urging people to throw money at cats or thanking them for having thrown said money.

That means that this is the time of year when, in lieu of words, busyness bids me to ply you with Gratuitous Cat Photos.*

Santa ain’t got nothin on the Hobbes/Mimi/Morgan triumvirate:

Hobbes smileth. And not just in the holiday season.

The outrageously talented volunteer Heather, who shot this photo, named it "ain't life grand." Hobbes approves.

Morgan, as captured through volunteer Jess' expert lens, is no stranger to grandeur himself.

Nor is Mimi, especially when (a) leaves and (b) one's own paw are involved. (Also by Jess.)

Mark captured this rare moment of Mimi-Morgan canoodling.

The same magnificent Mark capture this not-at-all rare moment of Morgan Looking Noble.

*If you are sufficiently mentally disturbed/awesome that you REALLY love and miss my ramblings and would like them to resume immediately, you can accomplish this by donating one hundred meelion dollars to Tabby’s Place today. One hundred meelion dollars will enable us to not worry so much about year-end fundraising, and I will blog every single day except Christmas itself for you. I am kidding. Kind of. Not really. I’ll shut up now.
