*That would be Elizabeth herself up in that top thumbnail. And, yes, she is, in the words of a wise volunteer, “completely preposterous.” Completely.
Wow – what a change in little Camille! Another Tabby’s Place miracle cat! And no one crossed the bridge – amen!
Oh little Camille – you are soooooooooooooooo cute! You bring back wonderful memories of Denton, a very sweet kitten who had also been afflicted with one serious case of ringworm. The rescue group I was with at the time had an industrial storage-type facility where the cats who weren’t being fostered stayed. Denton was in this group. Potential adopters would come in and ask what Denton’s coat would look like once his “problem” went away. The reply was always solid gray – he’s a Russian blue. Imagine everyone’s surprise when his coat grew back and revealed the surprise – Denton was, in reality, a silver tabby! Such a good boy. He was the only kitty we all kept hoping would never be adopted. He was adopted – at his very first pet fair!
