There are many great aspects to my job of running Tabby’s Place, but one of the best is having cats for officemates. I’m guessing that outside of home offices there are not many cats in offices. So I was planning on a blog post about my officemates, since not many people get to enjoy this during their workday.
And, I will post about Sinbad and Pepper, but I was so tickled to learn about another person with two office cats that I decided to defer to the Speaker of the House.
That’s right, Nancy Pelosi, the Speaker of the House has two cats in her congressional office. Even better, she has a video on her YouTube site showing the cats in action. (The video segues into a very weird little dancing scene. Not sure why.)
Honestly, I don’t like politicians anymore than I did before, but my heart has softened a little bit, I guess.

I watched the video. Why did it switch from the two cats to the guy singing and the gal dancing?

I would feel in paradise, surrounded by so many cute kitties! Sometimes I work from home and my cats come to the office, but one of my cats would climb to my neck, walk on the keyboard etc. I would love to be a volunteer at Tabby’s Place but…I live too far away (in Costa Rica).
