Penny was a funny little girl. She was quite shy when she arrived and could invariably be found hiding in one of the lower cubbyholes in Suite C. She was unobtrusive and easy to overlook until food arrived.
It has taken me two weeks to get the emotional strength to write this post. I figured I had cried myself dry and I knew that putting this down on “paper” would reopen the wounds. But it had to happen. Today is the day.
Little Dave has no trouble making friends wherever he goes. As many of you know, Dave has been my foster son and traveling companion since October. Dave is always ready to climb into his heated cat carrier with the cozy fleece blanket, and take a ride to see all his friends at Tabby’s Place.
