Fiona is not merely a well-aged tortie.
She is not simply a graceful survivor of diabetes.
Her claim to fame isn’t even that she’s more colors than a fruitcake.
No — Fiona’s best-kept secret is that she’s an honorably retired Radio City Music Hall Rockette.
That’s our only explanation for those long legs, that springy step, and that showgirl sparkle well into her old age.
Fiona, you are as bright as that first Advent candle, and we love you. Rock on.

I couldn’t let this post go without adding a comment. I adore Fiona. She stole my heart the first time I met her. She was in a carrier and so stressed by her new situation. It is just wonderful and a true testament to TP that she is so comfortable now just being Fiona. I am so drawn to her that I HAVE to spend time with her whenever I’m visiting the sanctuary. And yes, “showgirl sparkle” is a fitting way to describe this beauty. Love you, Fee!
