Oh, kittens! If ever we needed cats, it’s now. We are in Olympics withdrawal. Target is trying to boondoggle us into believing we are behind on holiday shopping. And no matter where we hide, it is still an election year.
She sparkles
At fifty-five miles an hour, you would scarcely see her. Was that a cat, or someone’s discarded sweatshirt? Was there breath in that bundle, or just speckles and bones? The world drives too fast. Only love is slow enough to see the sparkle.
Unprecedented events
If you want to watch the badminton quarterfinals, you will have to set your alarm for 3am. If you are passionate about pentathlon, you understand your event will not make prime time. But if you are a Tabby’s Place cat, you are too good of a sport to care if you are a popular sport.

Oh, March, you month of missed opportunities. You talk about lions, lambs, and leprechauns, but you overlook the one creature on earth who is simultaneously all three. You make much of March Madness, but dribble right past its experts. Kittens, March! Cherish the Kittens!
