Good things happen in June. Good things also happen in eleven other months, but there’s something about June that just makes you want to…sing-a. Especially when it starts on a Friday, and you’re alive, and you live in a world in which cats exist.
It’s a quote that stays compelling even after it’s been Pinterested to death: “Comparison is the thief of joy.”
2016 was a doer of some dastardly deeds. The New Year is still nearly formless and void. But a very good spirit is hovering over the waters here. It is the spirit…of birthday cake.
Now this is just ridiculous. People seeking the highest office in the land may call each other losers and liars, but even they have the good sense not to excrete upon their opponents. Cats have no such decorum.
This week in the U.S., we honor those who served. This week every second of every hour of every day at Tabby’s Place, we honor those who serve are served.
