People say that Labor Day marks the end of summer. People say that white shoes are not okay after said day.
People say a lot of things.
But if you’ve had the kind of August our cats have had, you’re still sloshing white espadrilles through the endless summer stew.

Don’t believe me? Try this on for size:

So wear whatever shoes make you dance, kittens. Or, if you have feet like skis and need to buy your shoes in the same department as Sasquatch and the Yeti, wear whatever shoes fit your titanic tootsies.* Either way, September, we hail you with tails in the air and toes tapping.
*Like me. Somewhere, someone has grainy VHS footage of the Abominable Snowman trying on size-98 TOMS…and, right beside him, there I am buying Converses the size of canoes.
Thank you for this wonderful update. Paulette, Rosemary, Mystique – always happy to hear of a few more mature ladycats finding furrever homes. (A cat named Dawg! And a cat named Banana!!)
