We can’t all be Santa Claus. We can’t all be Mr. Rogers. But each of us can be all the cats believe we can be.
As it happens, Denni is telling Heather and Bucca and me a thing or two about trying gracefully.
Some of them try too hard. Some of them try too little. Some of them try moderately. All of them live in my office.
Every day is a party at Tabby’s Place. There are shenanigans. There is tomfoolery. There’s enough Party Mix to make a trail to Neptune and back. But one day still stands apart.
Ours is the instant age. Instant pots. Instagrams. Instant gratification of every greedy, grasping gradation. But cats prickle at our pace.
