Update for Mona

Hello dear sponsors,

As Spring comes to a close in the FIV+ suite, we anticipate many more sunny, sleepy, and serene days in our beloved solarium. Some of us are out there every day. The regulars include myself, Adelaide, Newman, Mr. Grey Fluffy Pants, Charlie, and Wolfie.

On most days, you can find me stretching out on my favorite new piece of furniture: a luxurious cot, which was generously donated by two of our favorite volunteers. The cot is a real wonder. I can lie on top of it, all stretched out, and catch the rays of the sun. And when it is too hot, I can also lie underneath it, where the temperatures are much cooler. (Sometimes, my boyfriend Mr. Grey Fluffy Pants joins me there!)

Did you know that we are in the midst of our annual Linda Fund Matching Challenge? Linda Fund donations go towards the emergency and specialty care of our neediest cats, and many of us Special Needs cats have been beneficiaries of the Linda Fund at one point or another. Every donation made through June 27 will be matched, dollar for dollar. If you know anyone who might want to donate to this fund, please pass on this information.

I happy to report that my health has been good this past month.

As you may recall, our friend Wolfie had a feeding tube inserted when he was having some health issues a little while ago. Well, he decided that he was ready to eat without it…so he took things into his own hands, and removed it himself! Although Wolfie did this a few days before our vet team had planned to remove the tube, all is well, and now Wolfie is eating on his own.

The warmer months bring more visitors to Tabby’s Place. On most days, I love to be petted. But on other days, I like to be left on my own. Either way, my visitors are accommodating. That is what’s so special about being at Tabby’s Place…I can just be myself, and I am always loved and appreciated for who I am.

Thank you for making this wonderful life possible for me.

I wish you happiness and peace,

xoxoxo
