I don’t know about you, but I am so glad that the cold winter weather is almost gone. I have been indoors almost all the time these past few months. In the past few days, the snow and ice are beginning to disappear, and I am looking forward to spending more time outdoors, in the solarium.
This month has brought the most wonderful news: my best friend Hocus has returned to our FIV+ suite and is doing great! (You might recall that he spent much of last month in the hospital.) Well, his white blood cell count is continuing to normalize. He is being monitored very closely by the folks at Tabby’s Place, but I am hopeful that my dear Hocus is on the mend. Hocus and I are back to cuddling, as we dream of the spring, when we will be sitting together in the solarium with the sun warming our fur.
In medical news, do you remember that we were concerned about Newman‘s blood work a few months ago? Well, I am quite happy to report that he had another normal recheck. He has one more recheck to go, and we will be reassured that his health crisis is over. Let’s all keep our paws crossed for him.
On Valentine’s Day, all the cats in our suite discussed how lucky we are for our wonderful life at Tabby’s Place, where we experience love, friendship, and the best health care…and, oh yes, some very tasty meals! You, my dear sponsors, make this joyous life possible for us. May you each experience the love, kindness, and warmth that you bring to me and to all the cats at Tabby’s Place. It is my honor to write to you each month about my life, as well as the lives of many of my Tabby’s Place friends.
Take care and be well.
