Elliot’s Episodes #3

Happy December, Dear Sponsors and Tabby’s Place Fans!

It’s me, Elliot….If you thought last month’s Episode was grreeaaat, wait until you read this month’s! I have so much news to share with you and I am so excited about it all.  So, let me get started.

First, I have so many “hoomans” who love me and take care of me.  There is Ariel who cleans my suite (B) and who makes sure I have lots of kibble and blankies and beds and toys.  Then I met Cathy who also helps to clean my suite.  And I have two wonderful folks who take lots of pictures of me.  Ruth likes to wait till we pose for the camera and Robert gets us in all kinds of poses, too.  I am so lucky because when Ariel cleans my suite, she also gives me lots of love and pets.  I like to follow her around since she has food…ha-ha…

Next, I was happy to see my friend, Mary Anne, who came to visit me one day last week.  But she could not find me since I was on top of the ramp in suite B and sleeping on a white blankie.  I blended right in.  So she just sat down on one of the cubes and played with some of my suitemates until I woke up.  Well, once I knew she was there, I came down from my bed and sat on top of one of the cubes, and let her pet my head.  I tried to get next to Faye and share her bed, but she wasn’t having it.  So I went back down to the cube below so Mary Anne could keep petting me and loving on me.   It was great fun!  I got a great back rub along with my head and ears petted.

I am so happy in suite B and I am settling in nicely.   Since I am a big kid now, I don’t have to worry about taking care of the kittens.  And guess what?  I don’t have any more upper respiratory infections either.  I am gaining weight (not a lot, but just enough) and am so healthy now.  One of the best parts of being in suite B is making new kitty friends and sharing blankies and toys.

There are a few things I just love to do:

  • Big stretches when I wake up from one of my many naps
  • Watching the other kitties in my suite from on top of the ramp
  • Watch all the people and kitties who live in the lobby, from the big glass window
  • Running up and down the ramp to get in my “kitty-sizes” (cat for exercises–ha-ha)

But what I love most is all my people and kitty friends who love me and who keep me happy and healthy.

December is a month for many holidays.  So whichever one you celebrate (or not,) please enjoy and be happy and healthy like me.  I know it would be hard for me to be adopted with my incontinence issues.  But if you can’t adopt me, please, dear sponsors, come by to visit me and to play with me for a bit, so I can thank you in person for all you do for me.  I am still hoping that someone out there will be willing to bring me into my furever home.  Until then, I am safe and sound and warm with lots of TLC and a full belly, thanks to the staff and volunteers here at Tabby’s Place.

Love,
Elliot
