Special Update for June

Special Update for June

Happy December, dear Sponsors.

Guess what? Miracles do happen, and wishes do come true. I am adopted! And to make it even better, I have been adopted with my new companion, Peg Leg Pete.

When I first came to Tabby’s Place, I was very scared and had been paralyzed by a car.  I had just had kittens, but the folks who rescued me could not find them.  Each day I pray that they, too, were rescued by a kind soul.

Over the course of the last few years, I began to trust humans and soaked up all the love, attention, and medical care I got from the Tabby’s Place staff.  Then I met scribe who helped me to do my monthly journal.  Even with the pandemic and the lockdown at the Sanctuary, she was still able to help me from a distance.

I am no longer a feral girl, but love being with humans and having my head scratches, pets, and back rubs.  And I so wished for a home of my own with my very own family.  Well, now I have gotten my wish and am so excited to be going to my furever home with my “boyfriend” Pete.

I am so thankful for all the love and support you gave me during my stay at Tabby’s Place and hope you will be so kind as to help another special needs kitty.  Were it not for you, I might never have lived to see this special day in my life.

So, Dear Sponsors, I thank you from the bottom of my kitty heart for everything you did for me.  I wish the best for all of you and hope that this holiday season brings something special for all of you.  This will be my last entry of June’s Journal.

Love and kitty hugs and kisses,

June

From Mary Anne, June’s Scribe…I have loved writing for this precious bundle of joy.  And the tears are flowing as I write this final entry of June’s Journal….I am so happy she has been adopted and with her buddy as well.  May God grant her and her humans many blessed years together.

Since June has found a home to call her own, your sponsorship has been transferred to another Special Needs cat: beautiful Rose. Like June, Rose lives with a spinal injury that left her incontinent. Rose has dual residency in our Lobby during the day and in Suite A overnight.

If you’d prefer to choose a different cat to sponsor, you can meet them all here. Please feel free to email us if you’d like to transfer your support to a different kitty. (Otherwise, going forward you will receive updates on Rose each month.)

Thank you again for your kindness and generosity to June. You’ve helped to make this marvelous news possible for her (and Pete), and we’re so grateful!
