Some humans convened this week. Other humans will convene next week.
On a scale from “the 1%” to “yuuuuuuge”, the cats’ level of caring is smaller than the margin of error.
You and I, though — we’re human, for better and for worse. We have feelings about all these things. We’re either wearing red or seeing red. Next week, we’ll be decked in shades of blue or singing them.
Yet even in these divisive times, my fellow citizens, there is common ground to be found.
Cats are not voting for Hillary.
Cats are not voting for Donald.
Cats are not even, to their great detriment, getting behind the All Day Breakfast Party.
Cats are, and shall always be, strict monarchists.
So whatever feelings you’re feeling about all this convening and convulsing, enjoy your liberty to look at cats with random political captions. Happy weekend, amici.

All animals are equal but some animals are more equal than others. George Orwell and Mango. Picture his orange sweetness right here. This is fun – a good idea for the weekend.
Right now, we have a special opportunity for donations to be matched, up to $22,000.
Tabby’s Place rescues sweet seniors who have nowhere else to turn. Their hearts are full of love, and these gentle souls deserve tenderness, respect, and excellent care.
Please give from your golden heart, so senior cats can have happy golden years. Your donation will go where it is most needed.
Harriet, age 16, was once forgotten and alone. A car accident left her with life-threatening injuries. But the best days of Harriet’s life were ahead: she became a Tabby’s Place cat.
Surgery saved her life, and love mended her broken heart. Today, this shaggy sweetheart reigns in our Executive Director’s office, receiving world-class care for her kidney disease and arthritis. Steven, age 15, has lived at Tabby’s Place all his life. He may have numerous Special Needs, but Steven is as happy as springtime itself. Our little “elder statescat” is thriving through his golden years, enfolded in love and adored by all.
