Part of my job is to make appointment reminder phone calls. Recently, I had a rough conversation with someone who couldn’t tell the difference between 3 disparate groups of people. (Oh, no. Here we go.)
Some days the Tabby’s Place lobby feels like an outtake from a Tim Burton movie, or maybe a circus. Or the Island of Misfit Toys. Make that all of the above. This has never been truer than since wild, wondrous Gabriella came to town.
It was a typical afternoon at Tabby’s Place. Cats were sleeping. Cats were playing. Cats were eating. Humans were talking about Dwight D. Eisenhower.
True story: true love lasts. And when it’s hopelessly-devoted-to-you kinda love, it lasts forever. So it’s only fitting that we (you, me, Tashi, Bialy) are still very much in lurrrrrve with the dancing ocelot, Molly. Special thanks to her forever MollyMama for writing this glorious, picture-full update. Prepare to swoon…and dance.
What’s cute and tiny and shimmies all over? I’ll give you one more clue: she has more spots than a pimply teenager and all 101 dalmatians combined.

Hear ye, hear ye: Petfinder.com has dubbed today (August 12th) Adopt-a-Less-Adoptable-Pet Day. If you ask us at Tabby’s Place, nobody’s unadoptable, and every day is adoption day. Nevertheless, I love that Petfinder is shining the spotlight on the underdogs (and, especially, undercats) today.
…because Brock University in Ontario proudly announced that they’ve successfully refined a methodology “to allow for a human taste panel to profile the flavour and texture of a range of cat food products (CFP) and their component parts. ” Mmm mmm good. I wonder what “successfully” means here?
