This has been another month of Yardley doing amazingly well. Her blood work is amazing, her stool is amazing and she’s happy.

The most noteworthy event that happened this month was that my younger son cleaned his room and organized his stuffed animals. I found Yardley snuggling with the stuffed animals. Maybe she was letting them know that they serve her? Maybe she was protecting them? All I know is that she looks comfortable.

I noticed that the other cats do not go into Yardley’s room. This room is shared with my younger son. Even if Yardley is visiting the stuffed animal pile in my older son’s room, my other cats do not go into Yardley’s room. This surprises me because Yardley has regular food and my other cats get prescription food. My downstairs cat, Mariska, is on regular food. One or two of the cats do come downstairs and eat some of Mariska’s food. They do not venture into Yardley’s room. They do not eat Yardley’s food. If Yardley is sound asleep in the other room, they do not eat Yardley’s food.

Once again, the cats have shown that they know more than we think they know. All I know is that they are smarter than us.
