Yardley is doing well. She is still enjoying her spot under the desk with her blue blanket.

I have mentioned before that Yardley lives with a messy 10-year-old boy. There have been quite a few disagreements between my son and me about eating food in his room. I am okay with it as long as he cleans it up right away. He says he will clean it up right away but this does not always happen.

Yardley believes he should be able to eat in his room, as long as he shares. She specifically requests that he shares his cheese. Lunchables are—unfortunately (for me)—the norm around here. Lunchables are—fortunately for Yardley—the norm around here.  My son does not like the cheese in Lunchables so that makes Yardley a good eating partner.

What Yardley likes even more than Lunchables Cheese is pizza—specifically the cheese on the top of the pizza.

Last week, my son was eating pizza in his room. Yardley would not leave him alone. He realized that she wanted the cheese and gave her some. She was very, very happy.

Side note: Tabby’s Place is not sponsored by Lunchables. I personally think they are gross and that I have failed as a parent that I let my child consume this food on a regular basis.
