Hello Wolfie fans,

I’m happily filling in for Wolfie’s correspondent this month. Life in the FIV+ Suite has been good for Wolfie and his friends, and our oversized love bug is healthy and happy.

After sharing some love and attention with his needy roommates, I spent time petting Wolfie and watching him practically melt into his chair. I then watched him happily conquer this poor, overmatched toy mouse (see photos) and show it who’s boss. It’s the little things that make him happy! 😊

Don’t tell Wolfie, but it seems he’s been the topic of conversation around the lunch table recently. A certain someone (a Founder and Executive Director not to be named) mentioned that Wolfie is one of the most frustrating Tabby’s place cats to medicate. This is apparently no secret as many heads nodded in enthusiastic agreement. Our Wolfie has a way of hunkering down and becoming a cranky orb, which makes him exceedingly difficult to pill. Fortunately, the Tabby’s Place staff is tenacious, so Wolfie gets what he needs!

I’ve heard that Wolfie likes to celebrate holidays. I asked him if he plans to wear a costume for Halloween. He told me he’s thinking about being a ghost; I didn’t have the heart to tell him that, at his size, our sweet boy will never be invisible.
