Greetings to Team Thomas!

Are you ready for some good news about our special boy?

Great, because that’s what we’ve got!

The wire in his jaw has been removed successfully and without complications. In addition, Thomas has been eating well, so we’re decreasing his tube feedings to just one per day. We’ll monitor his weight and appetite to make sure both are as they should be, and, if all goes well, he’ll be back in his suite in a week or two.

Thomas is not happy that he’s still caged, but he’s bearing it well and continues to crave human attention. In the photo at right, you can see Thomas in our Exam and Surgery Room, freshly outfitted with a new bandage to keep his tube in place.

We can’t wait to see His Orangeness sunning himself in his solarium again, and we’re as pleased at his progress as we are grateful that he has caring people to sponsor him.
