After his close brush with adoption, it’s been a calm month for Shea.
Not that he showed any angst about the potential adoption.
In fact, Shea rarely gets worked up about anything.
He is quite laid back and is content with lounging on his own, or with friends.
Indoors or outdoors (the Solarium), he is equally happy.
Truth is, there have been some rather large changes in the FIV Suite in the last month.
Two cats left (Stafford to my office & Chachi to the Rainbow Bridge).
And, big boy Knickers moved in to the suite.
Knickers has been a jerk with the other cats so far.
We have started him on behavioral meds and are keeping him crated while he is “adjusting.”
None of this has fazed Shea. he remains “cool like Fonzie.”
While we’re sad that he wasn’t adopted, we’re glad he’s with us, especially give his heart disease.
