As Shea’s official corespondent, I would like to thank you for being his sponsor.
I hope you enjoy the updates.
And, please feel free to contact me with any questions or suggestions. As you know from reading his description, Shea had received a “good beating” before arriving at Tabby’s Place.
His wounds healed pretty quickly, but his distrust of humans remained very high.

And, please feel free to contact me with any questions or suggestions. As you know from reading his description, Shea had received a “good beating” before arriving at Tabby’s Place.
His wounds healed pretty quickly, but his distrust of humans remained very high.
Like most feral cats, Shea loved the other cats, however.
And, once he discovered the tube leading to the solarium, he found a good place to hang with his friends.
After he had settled in, we added him to our Fearful Feline program, which has volunteers working to socialize our most scared, feral or crazy cats.
It was slow going, but Shea did start to warm to humans.
While he remains quite suspicious of employees and strangers, Shea has had a wonderful transformation and is now able to appreciate the tender ministrations of many humans.
You can see an example of this below.
She certainly seems happy now, and his health has been good.
Keep a good thought for that boy.
More next month.
