Update for Princess Bubblegum

Greetings, Princess Bubblegum Sponsors!

I hope everyone is doing well. Princess Bubblegum is doing great. She is ruling over her domain. There have not been any uprisings or secret coups. Sometimes, resident torti Arwyn swats at the princess. This is about as serious as it gets. This swatting usually happens during treat time. Everyone does get their treats, and then everyone goes on their merry way.

Last month, I mentioned that we were adding the phosphate binder back into Princess Bubblegum’s food. The phosphate binder Aluminum Hydroxide is being tolerated by our princess. Thankfully, PBG is eating her food just like she was before. We will get her levels checked again in a few months.

When Princess Bubblegum was a baby, she hung out on my shoulders all the time. She still does this, but not for too long. She is too big a girl to do this for an extended period of time! The other day, my son was holding her and PBG climbed up on his shoulders. It was very sweet. That is her on his shoulders in the picture here.

Princess Bubblegum is still playing with Marcy, our blind dog. Marcy always initiates the play, but I think PBG secretly likes it. She will not admit that she plays with a dog, but she does not run away, either.

There are some big changes coming up for our family. We are in the process of buying a house. Princess Bubblegum does not know it yet, but she will have significantly more space very soon! There is a screened-in porch that I am sure the cats will love. We are planning to put cat trees out there and make it a nice sitting area for cats, dogs and humans. We are incredibly excited.

Thank you for sponsoring sweet Princess Bubblegum! Hope you are enjoying this almost-thawing weather. Spring is around the corner!
