Dear Friends,

I’m feeling so much better this month and back to seeking treats! And the mystery has been solved regarding the scratch on Durin’s ear – he had an ear infection that he was scratching. He’s now getting daily ear medication and is feeling much better, too.

I have become obsessed with the solarium. It’s like a private outdoor patio, but we’re protected! We get to watch people, cars, butterflies and birds go by.

Durin and I have been out in the solarium a lot with perfect weather for most of the month – until the smoke from the wildfires in Canada reached Ringoes, New Jersey, that is. The poor air quality from the smoke kept us indoors for almost a week. Luckily, that has passed and we’re back to enjoying our solarium.

Sometimes when I’m in the solarium with my people, I get very chatty. I make funny sounds, almost like a bullfrog serenade.  I’m so goofy sometimes.

Thank you for your friendship and support, which make this life possible for me. I hope you can visit me someday and hear my strange chatty sounds in person. 😊
