Dear Friends,
At the start of the month, the lovely Tabby’s Place staff noticed I was a bit congested and that I still seemed a little off. They ran a thorough blood test, and everything was in the normal range. I continued to lose some weight, so I’m being closely watched. I also get subcutaneous fluids when needed to make sure I stay hydrated.
Right now, my weight has stabilized, and I’m no longer congested. Meanwhile, my buddy Durin has a small scratch behind his ear that the medical team is monitoring to make sure it’s not something more serious. We are so very grateful for all the folks who take such good care of us here!
Durin and I are generally low-key cats. We love it when people visit and let us sit on their laps for cuddle time. Tabby’s Place has amazing volunteers who visit with us and bring us food and treats. They tell us how handsome and sweet we are and share the stories and antics of their fur babies at home.

When we’re not cuddling with our peeps, we’re often sitting in the sunshine or glancing out the windows at the birds, bugs, and butterflies that go by. Life here is so sweet. Thanks for being my friend and making that possible for me.
XO,
Ponce de Leon
