Dear Friends,

I’m loving my new suite in Quinn’s Corner! It’s filled with sunshine, fluffy beds, toys, and my Best Furry Friend, Durin. I get so excited when people come to visit. When the staff comes for medication rounds, I jump onto the counter to help out. And when someone pulls out a treat bag, I can hardly contain myself.

I recently showed off my jumping skills to my correspondent, who was surprised to learn that I’m so athletic because whenever she visits, I just plop down on top of her for marathon lap and cuddle sessions. I told her my extra toes (have you seen my extra toes?!) help me get leverage for my high jumps. My meaty paws (AKA, love mittens) mean there’s more of me to love and more for me to hug you with.

We get weighed regularly and I’ve been told I lost a significant amount of weight since moving to my new suite. Naturally, the staff was concerned, so they ran some bloodwork, which did not show anything out of the ordinary. Next up is an abdominal ultrasound to rule out any health issues. I hope they give me treats afterward!

On a recent warm day, I explored the solarium, where we get plenty of sunshine and fresh air in a safe, protected environment. But my favorite spot is the sunny window cubby, which I share with Durin. This is my happy place.

Thanks for all you do to make my life so special and filled with more love than I could ever have imagined.  My heart is filled with joy.
