This winter, I am spending too much time in my cubby-hole. The problem is that, due to all the snow, there are days when we cannot use our solarium. As the weather gets warmer, I will be back to my healthy habits of getting fresh air and more exercise. Only a few more weeks until Spring!
I must say that the FIV+ suite has been very calm and peaceful now that Doc Watson and Hobbes have their own place with our executive director. Our new friend Charlie is doing well with everyone. Even Juju and her brother Buddy are enjoying being out and about in the suite.
March marks the return to free-feeding in the FIV+ suite, which makes us all happy. We used to have to wait until 5 pm for dinner, and then we would all go wild with our food. Now we will be able to have a snack when we are hungry. (That will also get me out of my cubby.)
The Tabby’s Place staff will be monitoring us, to make sure that this is a healthy decision. We will all be eating a diabetic friendly-food so that Charlie can join us.
I have been letting some people pet me this month, and I think it is a good thing. I really do want to find my furrever home in 2014, and little by little I am becoming less scared of other cats and people. I hope that you will visit me and help me become braver. I have so much love to give!
