Update for Max

Update for Max

Dear friends of Max,

It brings me much happiness to report that Max remains status quo this month. He is healthy, happy and content, welcoming staff, volunteers and visitors with sparkling eyes each day.

The Tabby’s Place vet team regularly checks Max’s weight, given his history of fluctuation. A few months ago, his weight was up and down, but other diagnostics showed no health problems. This summer, Max’s weight has been nice and stable.

Fellow volunteers have reported finding Max rather playful this month. He’s been noted batting at a keychain with gusto, swatting at a small plastic cat ball on the floor of his suite, and pawing at Sammy as if the two were clapping hands. It is a fun side of Max to see. He also continues to share his window seat “throne” with Sherpa and any other cat who cares to join him, another nice thing to see.

Max is fourteen years old now, but his recent antics remind me of a younger cat. I hope and pray that he has many more years ahead of him, full of good health and happiness.

Someone has said that “Beauty is ageless; blended with love, it is timeless.” Thank you, dear sponsors, for generously helping Max to grow older with grace and dignity. He is a proud and magnificent cat who truly appreciates being adored.
