Update for Max

Update for Max

Seasons’ Greetings, Max supporters,

‘Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house, not a creature was stirring, not even a Max.

Wait. What? “Not even a Max?” That is not right.

Actually, ladies and gentlemen, that is exactly right. For the second time in a row, Max has had a completely quiet and uneventful month. This is a good thing, as he has become more like a normal cat.

When I visit him now, he is definitely like a normal cat. Heck, I would say Max is like a regular human being: sometimes he is very affectionate, and sometimes he does not want to be bothered. I never know which Max I am going to get, but I am okay with that, because he is happy.

I am not the only one okay with this new and peaceful Max. Trey is downright ecstatic to be out of Max’s crosshairs. Now that Trey no longer must worry about the next Battle Royale with Max, Trey, ever the love bug, has turned his attention to his budding romance with Cypress. My spies and I have observed the happy couple lying curled up together atop Max’s crate, occasionally grooming each other, totally smitten and oblivious to the world around them. As for Max, he could not care less.

Seriously, ladies and gentlemen, this would not be possible without your generous support of Max’s care. In this season of giving, you have given Adoption Room #2 the greatest gift imaginable — that of peace. For this, I am truly grateful. As the tenants of Adoption Room #2 sleep in heavenly peace, I wish you and your family a wonderful holiday season and safe, healthy and prosperous 2011.
