Update for Macaroon

Dearest Sponsors of Macaroon,

Here I sit, in the midst of a blizzard, wind howling around the corners of the house, snow blowing horizontally, and I’m thinking about love. Yes, it’s February, the month of St. Valentine’s Day, the month of love.

There are all sorts of love. There is the love you have for your children and siblings. The love you have for your parents. And then there’s the love you, supporters of Macaroon, have for our Tabby’s Place cats. You know how much our kitties need your love.

Macaroon, fortunately, has always known love — first, from Tabby’s Place as a kitten, then from her adopter, and now from all the sponsors, staff and volunteers at Tabby’s Place. She is as loved as any cat, because you care. She is warm, she is sheltered, she is well-fed (indeed!), she receives the best medical care imaginable, and she is cherished by all of us. I think of all the feral cats outside on a day like today, and I know how lucky Macaroon is to be at Tabby’s Place.

My ultimate wish is that someone special can see the beauty in Macaroon, inside and out, and give her a forever home, where she can be loved always, as she so deserves.

In the meantime, thank you, as always, dear supporters of Macaroon.
