Dear Sponsors of Macaroon,

Well, 2017 is now upon us.

While our lives may change drastically this year, Macaroon’s will stay pretty much the same. She is still a svelte 19 pounds; she is still glossy black; and she is still feisty.

I understand that our Mac has been “throwing her weight around” with some of her friends in Suite C. This is not limited to fellow felines. I have, on occasion, been a recipient of her feistiness. While Macaroon is a sweet girl, once she has had enough pets, she will signal “enough” with a swish of her tail and, when this doesn’t cause you to stop, a swat. But this is only an occasional occurrence. Most of the time, she is the first one to greet you, purring loudly, when you enter the suite. She loves interacting with people, and I really hope to spend more time with her this year.

I’ve discovered that Macaroon loves playing with wand toys. She will leap and pounce and chase the feathers around the suite, joyously having the time of her life. Her only competition for the toys is Owen, who is as eager for play as she is.

My fondest hope for 2017 is that this sweet, beautiful, loving girl will find a sweet, loving forever home.
