Happy October — appropriately the month of Halloween and black cats — dear Macaroon sponsors.

Ah, yes, Macaroon, AKA Big Mac. As I am relatively new to MacWorld, I am still getting to know the Queen of Suite C. Macaroon is an appropriate name for a cat that I’ll be writing about, as I am a macaroon baker from way back. I give them as Christmas gifts, especially dipped in dark chocolate.

Macaroon, of course, is a year-’round gift, and she has been dipped in dark chocolate.

Mac seems to love people. When I visit her, she is always the first cat out to greet me. She head butts and licks and chatters. She is a large girl who is really beautiful in spite of her girth.

I spent half an hour with Mac this morning, just talking to and brushing her. She seems to really enjoy being brushed, until she doesn’t, and then she wants to eat the brush.

Apparently Macaroon likes to eat everything…although she has lost more than four pounds since her return to Tabby’s Place. The diet is working!

I love visiting with Mac, a sweet darling with some attitude — in other words, a perfect cat!
