Update for June

Update for June

Happy July, dear Sponsors and Tabby’s Place lovers.  Welcome to my latest journal.

It has been busy here at the sanctuary for the past month.  We are slowly starting to re-open and I am seeing more volunteers coming back to help out.

I have been loving my work in the Community Room whenever I can monitor the staff at their morning meetings.  But I also have a new “job.”  Remember the time the staff caught me shredding paper???!   Well, I have moved on to bigger and better things. I am now shredding something called “mail.” I don’t know what that is, but I found this envelope on the floor and just had to “go to town” taking it apart.  For some reason, I don’t think the staff appreciated my efforts. So now I just do my usual Community Room Kitty Patrol and keep the “hoomans” and other cats in line.

I have some new blankies and toys and I love to cuddle in them and stay warm.  And I have them all to myself…yay for me!

This past month has been a very good one for me healthwise.  I still get my usual mani and pedi and my regular doctor checkup.  My weight is good and I am looking pretty fine even with my messy ear. But no one can really tell I had surgery on it several months ago.

I am still loving all the hugs and loves and kisses I get and give when the staff comes to do my daily toilettes. But in spite of the wonderful care I get at Tabby’s Place, I am still hoping for a “hooman” of my own in a “furever” home.  I would love to live with someone who knows how to take care of special needs kitties like me.  Until then, I will just monitor the staff, look for shredding jobs, and curl up in my very own blankies for long naps.

Come and visit us here at the sanctuary when we open up again.  Until then, everyone please be safe and well and enjoy the rest of July.

Hugs and kitty kisses,
June
