June’s Journal #31

Happy January, dear Sponsors and cat lovers.  Welcome to my newest journal.

Is this really January or an early springtime?  I am amazed at the temperatures lately.  We go from cold to 70 degrees almost overnight.  And I thought I was going to settle in for a long winter’s nap now that the big December holidays are over for another year.

So here I am at the sanctuary enjoying another month of excellent health.  The staff here is so good at taking care of me.  I get my regular spa days each month with a mani and pedi, a dental check, and my ears cleaned.  I am one lucky lady.

I am still loving life under the blankies in the big bed in the Community Room.  But I am worried about my buddy, Puzzle.  He is on meds again and I just want him to be well and happy so we can cuddle together under the blankies.  Claire is being good to me, but just to be on the safe side, I try to stay opposite of wherever she is.

So since the weather is so good and we are not having any snow or sleet, I was hoping to get some visitors.  I would love to meet new people and to have them pet me and talk to me and even read to me.  Sometimes when Scribe comes to visit me, she will give me pets and back rubs.

She hasn’t been feeling too well lately, so she could not come to visit this month.  But I am open to visits from everyone.  I would love to be adopted into a home with someone who knows how to take care of paralyzed kitties like me.  And then I would have my very own person or people to cuddle with.

I am still doing my jumps from the cat trees while the staff is having their meetings.  But they are getting used to my kitty antics by now.  I am pretty strong in my upper body even though I can’t move my legs.  But I am so blessed to be at Tabby’s Place with all the great care and loves I get along with all the other kitties here.

Come visit us and maybe adopt one of us or more than one.  There are so many wonderful cats here who would love a home, just like I would.  So stop by and let me show you some of my little routines and antics.
