June’s Journal #26
Happy July, Everyone!
I’m back. Now that Scribe is able to be my writer again, I am up and “running.” So, Scribe came to visit me at the sanctuary on July 8th. She explained to me that one of her kitties, Miss Cali-o-pea, knocked over a mug of coffee onto her computer tower which went snap, crackle, and pop. After that, her dog, Miss Hazel, got bitten by a groundhog and needed surgery. So she was not able to write for me. But my friend, John, took over and gave a wonderful report last month.
Scribe found me in one of the cat trees on a very rainy Monday morning. We sure have had lots of rain this spring and summer, but I am dry and cool inside the Community Room with all my kitty friends. Scribe saw right away that I had just gotten my mani and pedi and was looking very happy and healthy. Scoots, a new gray paralyzed kitty, came by to greet her. And Carly Rose was in her high perch, looking out over everyone.
If you look closely at my pix or in person when you come to visit me, you can see that my ear looks really good. It is not as folded and creased as it was right after my surgery. So Scribe gave me such a good back rub and I totally relaxed. It was so quiet in the room and only the sound of one of the kitties snoring could be heard. Then I got some ear rubs and a new favorite thing… an “under the chin” rub… wow, was it ever nice. I even moved my head around a bit so Scribe could reach more places on my face and neck. She gives a good back, neck, ear, and under the chin rub.
I am so happy to have people visit me and give me some love and affection. Don’t get me wrong, the staff here at Tabby’s Place really takes good care of me and gives me so much love and affection. But we kitties always love more. I hope some of you dear sponsors will come to visit me and spend some time with me. I am really happy meeting new people and having as many pets as I can get. Please come to visit all the kitties here at Tabby’s Place. We are ready and waiting for your love.
So, dear sponsors, thank you for all your support and for caring enough about me to be my sponsor. Enjoy the rest of your summer and come to see me before the warm weather flies away and turns into Fall.
Love to all,
June
