Well, it’s been a really hot summer all over, but all of us fur babies are cool and comfy here at Tabby’s Place.

I have been having a hard time convincing Oliver, the big orange dude, that I am in charge of the Lobby, as he just keeps harassing me at every step of the game.  He wants to be the only cat here.  Well, guess what, Ollie, there are a lot of kitties who live in this lobby, and I am in charge.

Sometimes I get Olive to help me out, and we both guard the door.  Then at other times, it’s me and Boobalah, and we guard the chairs so visitors can have a place to sit.  I try to avoid Oliver at all times.  And when I manage to do so, I spend a lot of time being my silly self.  I love being silly.

So, my girlfriend, Prescott, and I have taken to sneaking into the Quinn’s Corner wing.  We are so good at it that the staff made a “wanted” poster of the two of us. We aren’t supposed to go into that part of the Sanctuary.  But you know kitties… wherever we can’t go, that’s where we wanna be.  So now, the staff and volunteers are on the lookout for our sneaky shenanigans!

Last month I told you about helping volunteer Larry at the reception desk.  I am still doing that, but I am also helping him bring in the supplies.  Larry has a lot to do here besides answering the phone.  So anytime I can help out, I am only too happy to do so.  And I get a free ride on the cart, which is the part I like the best!

I have been in pretty good health and spirits this month (except for the big orange monster kitty who is  trying to take over my leadership spot).

It’s been a little rough with the litter box at times, as I am straining again. But the staff here is on it, and they give me something to help me out.  Other than that, I am a happy boy here at Tabby’s Place.

Will you come and play with me?  I love to play, curl up in your lap, and get pets and loving.  And then you can visit the other kitties, too.
