Update for Faye

Top o’ the Morning to you, Friends of Faye!

Along with the arrival of leprechauns, four-leaf clovers, and Irish soda bread, it would appear that the first signs of spring are also beginning to reveal themselves, and our girl Faye could not be more excited! While she spent the majority of the past few previous months avoiding the solarium’s too-frosty temperatures, she is now once again able to claim her favorite space: right in the middle of a sunbeam.

While she still spends many of her evening hours in a cozy bed above the bank of overnight crates, by day you can find her basking in her suite’s adjacent solarium and catching rays while catching zzzzzs. You can also spot her cruising the grounds with volunteers, as the warmer weather has also permitted the return of our curbside volunteering program.

We’ve also recently seen Faye expanding her social circle a bit more. While Faye typically doesn’t mind other cats, she rarely seeks them out, preferring to keep her vibes aloof and independent (she is royalty, after all). That being said, we’ve noticed that she has, on occasion, been spotted hosting some low-key hangout sessions with Sunflower and Verde. You didn’t hear this from me, but rumor has it they spent a wild night streaming Oprah’s interview with Harry and Meghan last week. More to follow in upcoming updates, as we keep tabs on Tabby’s Place’s newest #girlpower trifecta.

Additionally, I am happy to report that Faye has experienced stable health this month. Our wonderful veterinary team did a blood count and chemistry panel on Faye, and it shows nothing new or concerning! This is wonderful news because it means two things: our friend Faye is feeling good, and you are to thank!  Because of the generosity of sponsor friends like YOU, we are able to provide Faye with the best ongoing medical care, so she can continue to spend her days in the sunshine and her nights in the company of her (new) friends.

We hope you are also taking care of yourselves this month, as we ease into the promise of brighter, warmer, longer days. Faye sends you a bouquet of shamrocks and counts herself the luckiest kitty in all the land because she can count you as one of her besties. You are the rainbow in Faye’s sky, friends! We love you SO much!

We’ll talk soon, friends . . .
