Verde has been through a lot of changes in her life, but we are hoping that she will soon find a place to call her Forever Home!
Verde’s history is a bit complicated. When she was a kitten, Verde was rescued from an outdoor colony and adopted out by another rescue. Sadly, her human passed away recently and she had no one to take care of her. Although it is unclear exactly what happened after her person’s passing, Verde somehow ended up outside and was fed and cared for by a Good Samaritan when she showed up outside his house! Luckily for Verde, this Good Samaritan reached out to Tabby’s Place for help and we were able to welcome her into our sanctuary.
Verde is a bit of a shy girl but she is great with other cats. Verde originally had a sister who she was bonded with, but unfortunately we have been unable to locate her. Verde would love a home with a confident, cat friendly cat who can remind her that people aren’t so bad after all. She needs a quiet home with a family who is willing to be very patient with her to help her open up again after the traumatic loss of her first home.
