Greetings Cotton Sponsors,

I hope that you are all safe and well, and that the aftermath of Tropical Storm Isaias is well behind you. I am happy to report that Cotton and all of his buddies weathered the storm just fine.

Cotton has had an interesting month. He had the opportunity to spend some time outside in the playpen and he had a blast. He is such a cutie, and he doesn’t let anything slow him down. Here’s a short video of his playpen antics:

 

Cotton was also the lucky recipient of a stroller outing by one of our fabulous volunteers. He got to check out all that’s buzzing and chirping in Cherny’s Garden.  He is the most expressive kitty. While watching him hunt, you can just imagine what his eyes are set on!  There is no stopping this sweet boy. Here is a short stroller outing video:

Medically, Cotton has been in good health this month. He has a new mobility cart that the staff has been assembling, fitting, and adjusting. He’s tried it out a few times, and we’ll continue to work with him as he takes some time to get used to it.

After all the activity, Cotton loves his spot by the front door cozied up with Rose. They enjoy napping in the sun and being each other’s snuggle bunnies. They also get to monitor all the activity coming and going through the door.  Cotton makes it clear that while other kitties may get to go outside as well, he must get out there and see what’s going on for himself!
