Greetings Cisco supporters,

Spring has sprung here in Ringoes, NJ, but there seems to be
a snag – and that would be SNOW. Kind of like the mail, it just
keeps coming. Cisco and his suitemates don’t seem to mind as
they have plenty of spots to tuck away and snuggle.

On a recent sunny morning, Cisco greeted me with what appeared to me as a bit of a smile. From there, it went downhill. Mornings are busy at Tabby’s Place and this may leave our sweet Cisco a little extra cautious.

This particular morning, I couldn’t even encourage Cisco to take a treat. He allowed me to place it very close to him, but otherwise, he wanted no part of it. So, after some time, I got a wand toy as I was going to attempt to engage him in play. Silly me. As I climbed the ladder (Cisco is almost always at the top of the ramp), he spotted the wand toy and ran as fast as he could to the solarium. That was the clearest message he has ever given me. Wand toys are evil!
As always, I will continue attempting to earn his trust, on his terms and at his pace.

Medically, it’s been a mellow, healthy month for our lovable grouch. Cisco is feeling good and enjoying warmer days out in the solarium with his favorite felines.

Thanks to your ever present generosity and love, Cisco continues to thrive. He is a very sweet kitty,
who just needs some time to realize that we’re all on his side. Thank you for your devotion to this sweet boy!
