Happy Valentine’s Day, Cisco Sponsors!

Cisco sends you love and hugs at this special time of year, and always. Our boy seems to have never met a cat he didn’t like. He is missing Shea, one of his cuddle buddies, who has been temporarily banished to the ringworm quarantine area. Another suitemate, Wolfie
(pictured below), likes to be close to Cisco also. Unfortunately, Wolfie is on a high fiber diet, and that makes for unhappy suitemates – no more dry food nibble-a-thon.

Perhaps Shea’s temporary departure made Cisco a little more approachable to our species, the human beans. As you know, we have been working very slowly with Cisco, to give him the space he wants, yet try to make him see the possibilities that come with trusting us a little.

Well, dear sponsors, this month of love has brought something to celebrate. Cisco made an enormous leap! While offering a treat from my fingertips was deemed to be undesirable, gently sweeping it off my fingers and then eating it was quite acceptable. Cisco considered eating it from my fingertips for quite some time before he figured out his compromise. Perhaps next time he’ll take it from my fingertips, but either way, our sweet boy is learning to trust.
