Update for Charlie

Welcome to November, my beloved sponsors!

So our super fantastic vet team went ahead and removed my wart that I told you about last month. We haven’t received biopsy results yet, and although it may have been a tumor instead, we know that removing it was almost certainly curative. No matter what the results, it is unlikely to cause any ongoing issues.

On the humorous side of the situation, my procedure took place on the same day as several kitten spays and neuters, so our vet room was full of tiny babies and, well, big ol’ me. My buddy Jonathan, Tabby’s Place Founder and Executive Director, kidded with me that my wart was bigger than the kittens I was hanging out with! I’m attaching a picture this month to show you my perfectly shaved and “de-warted” shoulder.

I recently welcomed a new roommate to Suite FIV+. His name is Cisco, and he was saved from an extreme animal hoarding situation. I of course have tried my best to help him feel safe and happy here in our suite. I am also terribly sad to report that we lost my beloved roommate Adelaide this month. She was always a good friend, and I will miss her terribly.

My scribe shared with me that our country’s humans are struggling lately with the sadly divisive and stressful process of electing a new President of the United States. If I may be so bold, I will give you a piece of grey furry wisdom from my hippie-spirit self. Do everything you can to move forward with peace, kindness, and an open mind. We will always have differences of opinion, but we must build bridges between us.

Thank you for all you do for me.
Peace, love, and purrs…
Charlie
